The Porches

July 16- With the back porch all finished they began working on the front porch today.
Tim, hard at work, he only has one speed...wide open.

They angled the garage doors and filled in under the dormer today.

We weren't sure how the roof would look on the porch, but,
Steve, the Master Craftsman, figured it out and we are very pleased with it.
It is my favorite room in the house!

July 15, 2009-View from the back of the house.
The back porch is taking shape, the dormer is in the bonus room
and the roof is almost complete on the back.
Today is Eddie's 30th birthday,
Happy Birthday!!

Windows& Porches

July 10, 2009-They began installing windows today. It has been a while since I have added pictures...too busy I suppose!

They have also been working on the back porch. We decided to add a "bump out" on the back porch to give a little extra room, (my suggestion!!)

July 3-Lots of progress is being made. It is amazing how much work three guys can do.
It was pretty scary watching them put the wood on this steep side of the house.
